FastEst srl (Piatra Neamt), the Romanian branch of Fast spa (headquartered in Italy, via Talete 2/4 42048 Rubiera(RE) Italy http://www.fastautomation.it), is a young and dynamic company especially committed to software development in automation and process control field, providing also installation, commissioning and plant start up services. FastEst srl operates in the industrial process management and automatic control areas referring to different production domains all over the world.

FastEst srl, for its office located in Piatra Neamt, is seeking engineers to cover positions available in some international projects

We are looking for

Control System Engineer

 Our process control team basically works worldwide.
The tasks include:
  • Assisting in all aspects of the automation design including System Architecture, Equipment Specifications and Automation /Functional specifications, Software Configuration and Systems Testing;
  • Correctly interpreting information contained in the contract to develop detailed designs to satisfy technicals and commercial requirements;
  • Preparing purchase requisition instructions;
  • Conducting site surveys;
  • Executing or supporting site commissioning/trouble-shooting activities;
  • Assisting development design work;
  • Carrying out systems application work.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Automatic Control, Electronics, Computing, Electrical engineering or equivalent, Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering;
  • Knowledge of Software/Hardware development tools for Programmable Logic Control (PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS) SCADA is desiderable, but not mandatory;
  • Good technicals skills, problem solving attitude and ability to play in team;
  • Knowledge of most common Operating System and office applications;
  • Availability to travel extensively worldwide;
  • Good English skills.

Process Design Engineer

 Our engineering team basically develops its activities in Piatra Neamt.
The tasks include:
  • Executing process engineering design, including P&I diagrams, Equipment Specifications and Process/Functional specifications;
  • Producing other relevant design documentation;
  • Preparing purchase requisition instructions;
  • Undertaking site surveys and work on site as required;
  • Executing or supporting site commissioning/trouble-shooting activities;
  • Assisting development design work.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Automatic Control, Electronics, Computing, Electrical engineering or equivalent, Computer Science, Physics, Informatics, Software Engineering;
  • Experience with 2D CAD for P&ID development is desired, but not mandatory;
  • Experience in DCS and PLC environments is welcome;
  • Good technicals skills, problem solving attitude and ability to play in team;
  • Knowledge of most common Operating System and office applications;
  • Availability to travel worldwide;
